In the early 1980's I inherited more than 30 china cups from two elderly cousins who had been collecting for many years.

The cups are all sizes and shapes and each is decorated very differently.

I expanded the collection adding cups purchased from yard sales, thrift stores, and antique malls.

I wondered who drank from these tea cups? Do we leave imprints on objects?

A psychic came for a series of psychometry sessions—holding each cup she told me about the former owners.

These 40” x 30” paintings feature the larger than life tea cup from where the story flows with the character as I imagine them.

The paintings are numbered in the order the cups were read.
